* This was one of the original sketches submitted for my entrance portfolio. My mom, who is a painter, has always done portraits of all family members throughout her life, yet no one returned the favor, until now. This was based on a picture of her in her middle to late 20's, rockin' the mullet, notorious at the time. Sadly, all original copies had to be submitted with no chance of return, so only a digital copy remains. FUCK YES. I finished my sketch portfolio yesterday. After 3 months of working mostly of weekends. It feels like passing a goddamn kidney stone. Now comes the boring paperwork. I gotta write a one page essay, which is crap, really, considering I can write three pages on something as trivial as celebrity cocks on a daily basis (if I had the time you know I would). One of the hardest things to do when you're moving away overseas is getting rid of the stuff that you can't carry over. But there's one object that's gonna be the hardest loss for me. I'm talking about this old girl: Old faithful here has been with me for years, and has lived through so much fucked up shit with me it's hard to account it all without having to read this whole blog again or going down memory lane with family, friends, lovers, exes, one night stands, and the shitload of people that placed their asses in it's grey, dusty seats. Of course I designed it myself. Took me long enough, since I'm still toiling with the Guildhall's entrance requirements and the time I have left for stuff like this is very limited (i started working on it months ago). But the wait paid off. DS really outdid himelf with the programming, and it came out as close to the prototype as it could be. Kudos to my man. He's awesome like that.
