How can I be in such a crappy mood on a day like this?Usually Saturdays are the perfect day to relax. You go shopping, you dick around the house, you procrastinate, you drink, you go out, you have sex, you name it. And the best thing is, you don’t have to worry about the morning after since it’s sunday so hangovers/drug binges/furry yiff orgies are usually a go.
So what am I so pissed off at the fact that it’s saturday?
Look at your window. Do you see an overcast sky, similar to this one?

Don’t misunderstand. I’m not turning into some whiny emo fag that gets depressed on dark, cloudy days. Fuck, I love rainy days, the naps you can take with that chilly breeze and the sound of raindrops are godly. But there are times when the sky turns overcast, like in the picture, and it just looks hazy without a single drop of rain. That’s where my ordeal starts.
You see, I suffer from Barometric Pressure Headaches. I have a goddamn motherfucking hell of a migraine going on right now. And the funny thing is that for the last few months, for some fucked up reason, every Saturday has been overcast. Which means I get a monster headache that just fucks up my day. I can’t read, can’t play videogames, can’t look at the monitor for extended periods of time, and I cannot stand bright lights. Once I had to go into a Walgreens with one of those migraines and it was like a vampire walking into broad daylight. “AAAAahaharghghghaaaaaaaaahhh my eyesssss!! *hissssssssss*”.
Why do those fuckers illuminate their stores as if it was a goddamn football field?! Jesus.
Anyway at first I thought they were caused by my sinuses acting up, but I remembered my mom once said that rainy days gave her migraines for some reason. I thought that was part of her overall crazy behavior, but one day desperation made me look for more detailed info and a solution to my suffering so I googled “rainy days + headache”. Well what do you know. It turns out she was right. Changes in the atmosphere, along with changes in temperature and probably the electric charge present in the air during overcast or cloudy days cause the blood vessels in my head to contract or expand in order to compensate for the change in pressure outside. That ends up causing an uncomfortable “pain mask” around your eyes and temples, along with the usual migraine side effects, which are sensitivity to light, palpitating pain behind the eyes and the upper side of my face, and sometimes, when it gets really fucked up, you get a nice dose of nausea. Whoop de fuckin’ doo.
Apparently that shit is pretty common, and people can actually predict when they’re going to experience a headache by watching for warm/cold fronts on weather updates, or simply by having a barometer and checking whenever the atmospheric pressure rises or lowers drastically. Me? I don’t need to check no punk ass weather channel. If I get a raging headache that isn’t caused by a valid reason (stress, hangover, too much work, excessive fellatio), you bet your ass there’s an ugly grey sky up there. If you see me punching my head in rage and despair (again, I’m not channelling an emo fag), just bring your umbrella. ella-ella-eeeh-eeh-eeh…
What’s even worse, since I’m allergic to aspirin I have to rely on panadol or tylenol or any other acetaminophen-based pain killer, and I think I’m developing an immunity to them. They barely work for me now, and now I usually feel their effect on the second or third dosage.
Usually I’m not a fan of excessive pill popping, but migraines make me so desperate and fucking pissed and I turn into an unbearable sour douche with sand in his vagina, so a little while ago I gave up and popped a couple of Tylenol PM’s so they knock me the fuck out, and hopefully when I awake the damn migraines are gone.
Ooooh shit they’re starting to kick in. Damn that drowsyness before you fall down like a log sure is nice…

use vicodin ¬¬, too much house para mi.
stop using gugel as ur doc y vete a un dotol de verdad que te recete algo mas potente. esa mierda de hacerse inmune a las pastillas me pasaba a mi antes cuando sufria de alergia cronica. tenia q cambiar d pastillas d cada cierto time pa q mi cuerpo no c acostumbrara.
by Wesito January 5th, 2008 at 10:17 pmEso es lo próximo. Ir a chequearme el cráneo a ver que me recetan.
Oh, and from now on saturdays shall be known as SHITURDAYS. It’s been a few hours since this post and NONE of those “softcore” painkillers have worked. I do wish I had some Vicodin.
Fuck.
Good shit.
