This is PUERTO RICO’S new "social bookmarking" site. Courtesy of yours truly and Mr. Fucking ray of sunshine himself. (goddamn, we’re on a roll. 2 websites up and it’s been barely a month 
)
What’s social bookmarking, you say?
Basically you pick a story, ANY story, be it from a blog, a forum, a news site, or an interesting youtube video. Then you register on the site (takes less than 30 seconds), and then you submit that story you like along with a link to it, obviously, the story’s headline or the blog entry’s title and finally a short description of what it’s about. Readers will see that link to the story in the "No Publicadas" section, check it out, and if they like it, they’ll vote on it. If the story you submitted gathers enough votes, it’s gonna be bumped up to the main page ("Publicadas"), and if it’s popular enough with the crowd, to the top of the list, giving it a hell of a lot more exposure and increasing the article’s traffic (which, let’s face it, is every attention whore’s wet dream. And each and every blogger on the face of the earth is a HUGE attention whore).
So yes people, you may register on this page, submit your whiny emo "omg life is hard I wanna die" entry from your blog, and if people can actually bear with what you write about, they’ll give you a positive vote. That’s gonna bump your entry up and let people who frequent the site notice your crap and click on your link, thus adding more hits to ya. It’s simple, it’s easy, and best of all, it works great in conjunction with sites like Puertoblogs and Blogalaxia in giving your blog or forum or freaky porn site more exposure and more visitors.
So basically it all boils down to this:
- Pick an article
- Login to Devaneo.net
- Click on "Enviar una noticia"
- Fill in the short details
- Voila!
After this step just sit back, accumulate enough votes, and bask in the light of fleeting internet notoriety, you whore, you.
So what in the open maw of satan are you waiting for? Check it out. Submit your stuff. Inflate your ego.
